Dr. Vy Kim is a Clinical Immunologist and Allergist who is certified by the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in Pediatrics and Clinical Immunology and Allergy (FRCPC). She completed her medical degree at McMaster University. She then completed her postgraduate training in Pediatrics and Clinical Immunology and Allergy at the Hospital for Sick Children at the University of Toronto.
She currently works in the Division of Immunology and Allergy at the Hospital for Sick Children and in her private practice with her practice partner Dr. J Lee. Her particular interests include primary immunodeficiencies, bone marrow transplantation, food allergies, drug allergies, vaccine reactions, anaphylaxis, urticaria, asthma, allergic rhinitis and rhinosinusitis, atopic dermatitis, systemic mastocytosis and medical education.

Dr. Segal is board-certified in Paediatrics and Clinical Immunology & Allergy. She completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, with a specialization in Life Sciences. Dr. Segal then attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where she graduated cum laude in 2007. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Segal went on to complete her residency in Paediatrics at The Hospital for Sick Children. Following her residency, Dr. Segal completed her fellowship in Clinical Immunology & Allergy, also at The Hospital for Sick Children. She is board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in both Paediatrics and Clinical Immunology & Allergy.
Dr. Segal practices in both downtown and uptown Toronto. She is also an Associate Staff in the Department of Paediatrics at Rouge Valley Health System (Centenary site).
